Team Games

In our modern remote-work-oriented world, it's important to remember to take some breaks so that you and your team don't burn out. It's also important to get to know your colleagues and build great working relationships

What better or simpler way to do that than by doing a bit of team game time!?

Here is a list of some of the best games that my previous teams have enjoyed playing while being remote. Even as many of us return to the office, these games still make for great team experiences and lasting relationships!

The Games

God Field

🤔 Overview: I'm not sure who built this, but it does not seem that they verified all of the terms in the game made sense in English. Which is all the better in many ways.

It's a turn-based card game where the last person standing wins. Once you turn on the "demons" option, the outcomes can be as hilarious as the awkwardly titled cards.

Note: Private team games can be created under the "Hidden Melee" option. Just trust me and give it a try.

👥 Type: Free for All

🎮 Good For: Spending some time getting to know how people strategize, and good unexpected laughs. Once the demons join the game, there are no true winners (usually)!

💵 Price: FREE!

🎲 Recommended Number of Players: 2-9

🖥 Platform: Web Browser (Full Remote or In-Person) - If in person, each person needs their own screen so other players can't see their cards. If remote, then each person can have the game in a tab and have Zoom or a similar to talk with other players.

Game Length: Approximately 10-40 minutes (really varies a lot on if you activate the "demons" mode…

👥 Type: Free for All

🎮 Good For: The more people the better this one typically turns out as there is more room for misinterpretation with more players/rounds. This game helps everyone get a brief introduction to others in a large group. This one is also great to get some creativity flowing before meetings that might benefit from new veiwpoints.
